Tips for Wearing and Washing Hold-Ups
Hold-up or stay-up stockings are self-supporting stockings without a garter belt.
They have an elastic band at the top with integrated silicone strips that stick to the upper thighs.
- Put on your hold-ups properly, fold back the band so the silicone strips are visible.
- Wipe the silicone strips with a washcloth dipped in warm water. This cleans and softens the silicone, improving adhesion.
- DO NOT use body lotion, (bath) oil, or cream when wearing hold-ups. These make the silicone slippery, causing the stockings to slide down.
- Wash your hold-ups in lukewarm or cold water. Hot water and fabric softener can damage the elastane and reduce elasticity.
